I've managed to do C* for $800 or less because:
- I scope out cheap airfares and subscribe to a few newsletters that
let me know about sales. Also, there are three airports near me, so I
can fiddle around to see which one offers the best rate.
- I have roomies, usually 3 or 4.
- I don't eat much. I'm not purposely subsisting on snack foods tho

Ive never stayed at the resort the committee has chosen, but I have
stayed at 2 all inclusive resorts in Mexico and 1 in Barbados and none
offered a discounted pay as you go rate. They simply were not set up
to take cash at the bars or at the main restaurants.. (they usually
have additional restaurants that are not included in the all inclusive

for 4 days. Maybe someone could show me how? ;)
Flights might come down next year but right now it's really expensive
to fly! It costs almost 400 buck to fly from Chicago to California!!

Okay...got a devil's advocate question for you, relating to finances.
Based on per night figures on the proposal's website, I'd be looking
at spending around $540 for four nights of lodging (at the least -- I
usually do Sunday-Tuesday). A quick search of July/August 2010
airfares on Kayak indicates that I can expect to spend around

Always a good thing.
Fortunately, if you read it, the travel alert specifies
Cozumel is over 1000 miles away from all of those states. The State
Department does not consider travel to Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan or
Quintana Roo [1] to warrant undue caution.

From my point of view, it's hard to do a werewolf story well. They turn out
silly, or are just gory. I mean, most are pretty predictable- moon gets
full, person turns into wolf and kills people. Turns back to human, doesn't
remember anything.

I took my family to Puerto Vallarta over Thanksgiving, and never
felt unsafe.
Usually the resort is in a compound outside of the city center, and
has security. You will be completely safe inside the resort grounds,
and you won't have to leave the grounds all weekend unless you want
to (thats part of the all inclusive thing)
